Objectives: The objective of the consultancy is to support the review, updating, and completion of the Climate and Biodiversity Transparency Strategy for the Competitiveness, Technology and Innovation Division (PTI/CTI), the Institutions for Development Sector (IFD), and the Climate Change Solutions Division (CSD/CCS). This strategy aims to outline the actions these divisions can undertake to help LAC countries improve their transparency systems related to climate and biodiversity.
Services provided:
- Review existing MRV systems
- Conduct a diagnosis and analysis of barriers to meeting the transparency requirements of the ETF
- Classify countries according to their maturity levels based on progress in transparency
- Consolidate the strategy
- Develop a protocol for implementing the strategy in several pilot countries

Objetivos: El objetivo de la consultoría es apoyar la revisión, actualización y finalización de la Estrategia de Transparencia sobre el Clima y la Biodiversidad para la División de Competitividad, Tecnología e Innovación (PTI/CTI), el Sector de Instituciones para el Desarrollo (IFD) y la División de Soluciones para el Cambio Climático (CSD/CCS). Esta estrategia pretende esbozar las acciones que estas divisiones pueden emprender para ayudar a los países de ALC a mejorar sus sistemas de transparencia en materia de clima y biodiversidad.
Servicios proporcionados por Kairos Climate Impulse:
- Revisar los sistemas MRV existentes
- Realizar un diagnóstico y análisis de las barreras para cumplir con los requisitos de transparencia del ETF
- Clasificar de niveles de madurez de los países en base a sus avances en transparencia.
- Consolidar la estrategia
- Desarrollar un protocolo para la implementación de la estrategia en varios países piloto
