Objectives: The main objective of this consultancy is to provide technical support to the countries (El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic), providing technical support to continue moving forward with their climate change commitments.
Services/tasks performed, among others:
- Elaborate inputs and recommendations for the proper execution of the project.
- Ensure coordination with relevant national institutions and government agencies to guarantee that project activities are distinct and fully complementary to other national initiatives
- Organize the logistics and content of the national workshops, with special attention to the inputs related with NDC decisions of climate change negotiations, NDC updating and implementation experience in the region, and technical guidance, considering the final objective of the workshop
- Address the needs of national authorities and provide technical advice on NDCs when required, ensuring their active involvement in the proposals submitted.
- Observe national interests and priorities in the formulation of proposals, studies and conclusions developed.
- Encourage the participation and exchange of experiences and knowledge of government authorities, promoting leadership on issues in which they have progress.

Objetivos: El principal objetivo de esta consultoría es brindar apoyo técnico a los países (El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala y República Dominicana), proporcionando apoyo técnico para continuar avanzando en sus compromisos en materia de cambio climático.
Servicios proporcionados por Kairos Climate Impulse:
- Elaborar aportaciones y recomendaciones para la correcta ejecución del proyecto
- Asegurar la coordinación con las instituciones nacionales y agencias gubernamentales relevantes para garantizar que las actividades del proyecto sean distintas y plenamente complementarias con otras iniciativas nacionales
- Organizar la logística y el contenido de los talleres nacionales, con especial atención a las aportaciones relacionadas con las decisiones sobre las negociaciones de cambio climático, la CND Actualizada y la experiencia de implementación en la región, y asistencia técnica, teniendo en cuenta el objetivo final del taller
- Atender las necesidades de las autoridades nacionales y proporcionar asesoramiento técnico sobre las CND cuando sea necesario, asegurando su participación activa en las propuestas presentadas
- Observar los intereses y prioridades nacionales en la formulación de propuestas, estudios y conclusiones desarrolladas
- Fomentar la participación y el intercambio de experiencias y conocimientos de las autoridades gubernamentales, promoviendo el liderazgo en los temas en los que tengan avances
