Objectives: The objective of the consultancy is to provide assistance in the management and production of elements that promote and strengthen the Monitoring, Reporting and Verification System (MRV) for the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in Colombia.
Services provided by Kairos Climate Impulse:
- Conduct a stakeholder mapping
- Develop a descriptive analysis of the different MRV systems of GHG mitigation in countries of the region
- Analyze the different existing national documents
- Consider the modalities, procedures and guidelines of the ETF of the Paris Agreement
- Propose an improved structure of the mitigation MRV system
- Propose a detailed implementation route for the MRV system
- Identify options for a country transparency body/institution
- Analyze and identify technical inputs and actions required under the ETF modalities, procedures and guidelines

Objetivos: El objetivo de la consultoría es brindar asistencia en la dirección y producción de elementos que promuevan y refuercen el Sistema de Monitore, Reporte y Verificación (MRV) de la reducción de emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI) en Colombia.
Servicios proporcionados por Kairos Climate Impulse:
- Realizar un mapeo de actores
- Desarrollar un análisis descriptivo de los distintos sistemas MRV de GEI en países de la región
- Analizar los diferentes documentos nacionales existentes
- Considerar las modalidades, procedimientos y directrices del MTR del Acuerdo de París
- Proponer una estructura mejorada del sistema MRV de mitigación
- Proponer una hoja de ruta detallada del sistema MRV
- Identificar alternativas para contar con una instancia/institución de transparencia del país
- Analizar e identificar los insumos técnicos y acciones requeridas bajo las modalidades, procedimientos y directrices del MTR
